As I've mentioned in previous posts and tweets - the husband and I have returned to our love of games. When we first moved into our home, we didn't install internet (I used the internet at work!) and we still have not purchased any type of television service. With the lack of electronic entertainment those few years ago - we spent time together playing games.
I do enjoy seeking out fun online games I use to play. Anyone remember bubble pop? There are so many new and I guess different games online that I had not seen before... I'm amazed at all the choices there now are. I haven't tried it, but you can even play bingo online.
Some of the games I've found online are electronic versions of the ones that we enjoy challenging each other with. One of our favorite games to play when we first moved in was Sudoku. We would each rip out a page from our puzzle book and see who could complete theirs first. It was a lot of fun and I think it was time well spent together. We've now downloaded Sudoku apps to our phone and will work on a puzzle together.
Recently, we've had a lot of issues with our internet service provider and so that entertainment resource has been very limited. So we've spent time playing chess together. We'll play it on the chess set that my sister gave us on our first Christmas together - or play it on the computer.
What fun games do you play at home or online?
