Saving on Office and School Supplies!

Is it too early to start planning the back to school shopping list? I don't think so! Maybe it's because I love office supplies or maybe it's because I love to make lists. Either way, I've started! On top of the fact that I love office supplies, I love school supplies. Walking through our classroom yesterday, I began to make a list of the various items I would need for the upcoming school year.

Some items we'll need to simply replace as they are consumable - the crayons, glue and paper. Other items will simply be new additions to our growing accumulation of learning tools.

I add a lot of supplemental books to our curriculum each year.  That is why I am so thankful that a lot of people and places sell books online that we will need throughout our school year.  I can find many of the subjects that we are needing to cover - as well as topics I hadn't yet considered.

Being budget savvy, we have purchased a lot of those items at Dollar Tree. They have an assortment of learning charts, including addition and subtraction charts. We've also found a lot of flash cards, award certificates, workbooks and classroom decorations. I've found decorative border for the bulletin board, numbers for the monthly calendar and so much more.

I also utilize the great prices there for things on my office supply list. The list typically contains the usual needs of a teacher - pens, scissors, index cards and markers.
