What you'll need:
~ 7 small to medium apples
~ 1/2 cup butter
~ maple syrup to taste
~ dark brown sugar to taste
~ ground cinnamon to taste
On a low to medium heat, melt the butter in a large skillet.
Core, slice and peel the apples.
Place in the melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Place lid on skillet and turn heat up slightly.
Stir as needed.
When the apples have begun to soften, drizzle the maple syrup over them.
Place lid back on skillet and wait a few more minutes.
Turn heat off and let apples cool.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy! We did!
